Getting to know Austin!

Hey, what’s up? I’m Austin Roberson. I help Studio Owners & Directors like you simplify online & social media marketing, so that you can get more students and make a difference through the Performing Arts.

I love donuts, brownies and anything sweet, and sometimes I randomly start talking in Spanish (nope, I’m not bilingual).

I never thought I’d go from learning pirouettes to Facebook ads, but here I am. My story begins when I was 9 years old. My sister asked me to play Danny in a little-kid’s rendition of Grease and I fell in love with the Performing Arts.

After dancing professionally for a couple of years, I went back to school at the University of Kansas where I studied Strategic Communications (which is basically marketing).

In my free time, I self-studied Facebook ads, attended countless marketing & business conventions, and spent thousands of dollars on online courses. In 2010, I started a marketing company called GrowSocial to help small-business owners get more customers using online and social media marketing, like Facebook ads.

But I quickly lost my passion for that business, because I didn’t feel like I was making a difference.

So after recovering from my parent’s divorce, a some-what-major back operation, and a meeting with my mentor, I decided to take what I had learned in the process of helping small businesses with marketing and coach studio owners on how to get more students using today’s new way of marketing (like social media and Facebook ads).
